P90X3 Review – Day 6, The Warrior

P90X3 REVIEW, THE WARRIOR

This workout sort of has it all.  Upper Body, Balance, Lower Body, MMA, and Core mixed in a pot that’ll keep you interested, focused, and engaged while cooking about 320 – 380 calories…all in just 30 minutes.

WHY DO SOME WHEN YOU CAN DO IT ALL?

Though this workout may not seem that difficult to some, it does have a way of creeping up on you…so be ready.

The “easiness” comes with how Tony has (strategically) stacked the moves to give you the best possible chance of executing each individual move with maximum intensity and form.

Yeah, there are workouts that kill just your legs, or your arms, or your core, etc., but why not kill your whole body in a manner that allows for a bit of cardio to be thrown in the mix?

Well, Tony Horton asked these questions and answered them with The Warrior…and the answer is, there is no reason not to!

In The Warrior we get everything from super burpees, to abrinome, to think drills, to elevator push-ups, to depth charges to everything in between so that, by the end of the session, everything from your Achilles to your heart has gotten a pretty good workout.

“AGING IS FOR IDIOTS!”

Though The Warrior may not be my favorite P90X family workout, it does remind me of one of my favorite Tony Horton quotes…and if you know Tony you know we have a lot to choose from…

…”Aging is for Idiots!”…but more on this in our next post.
