CHANGE YOUR LIFE, IMPROVE YOURSELF
A lot of people spend a lot of time reading, writing, researching, and studying how to change one’s life and improve one’s self. Well my friends, it’s y’all’s lucky day because I have found the single step needed to achieve both…and, because I know the suspense is too much to bear….here it is:
Damn, Disney knows their stuff!
But seriously, it is ALL ABOUT LETTING GO!
Be it hate, stress, emotional pain, or preconceived notions, we need to learn to let them all go – they do nothing but hinder progress!
And, though you may not realize it, PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS are, by far, our greatest adversary when it comes to both changing one’s life and improving one’s self.
PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS ARE NOT CONCEIVED REALITIES!
I have been helping people change their lifestyles for over 20 years now and have noticed the number one issue holding people back from progressing (be it mentally, physically, spiritually, or financially) is their preconceived notions on…everything really. SO MANY PEOPLE SIMPLY THINK THEY CAN’T and THEREFORE THEY NEVER DO!
You see, we believe our own preconceived notions so much that they become artificially created realities…imaginary realities that keep us from trying.
“‘Keep us from trying’ what?” You may be asking.
Keep us from trying ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING NEW!
The simple truth is that the more we allow our preconceived notions to alter our current artificially constructed reality, the less opportunity our conceived realities will have to dictate our official reality…man I love creating these type straight-forward-easy-to-understand-sentences!
IF WE CAN’T LET GO WE WILL NEVER PROGRESS
In other words, if you already think you can’t…YOU WON’T!!!!
BUT, if you think you might….YOU ARE ONE STEP CLOSER TO…EVERYTHING!
So now that you understand Step 1, here is Step 2.
“Remember when I told you I had only one Step? I lied.”
AND FOR THE SAKE OF AWESOMENESS AND OTHER LIARS:
STEP 2 – TRY SOMETHING NEW…TODAY!!!!
So, once you learn to Let Go, it is time for Step 2 which is…
…TRY SOMETHING NEW today and for the rest of your life!!!!!
Seriously, put your pants on with your left leg first (if you normally do it with your right), slip on the opposite shoe first, take a new route to work, walk barefoot to get your mail (but please remember to wash your feet), try a handstand, try a headstand, try a new sandwich, watch a movie that has less then 10% on rotten tomatoes (okay, I wouldn’t do that last one but you get the point…wait a minute…I just wrote this post so I might actually do it now), whatever it is DO SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY!
As simple as it sounds to do one new thing a day, it’s not as easy as you’d think….BUT IT’S MORE LIFE- ALTERING THAN ANYONE COULD IMAGINE!
Because trying something new every day will force you to look at life differently which will teach you to let go of all your preconceived notions which do nothing but hinder progress, distort reality, and ultimately block us from improving our life, ourselves, and our physical well being!
SO – IN SUMMATION
STEP 1. LET GO,
STEP 2.TRY SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY,
STEP 3. CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND IMPROVE YOURSELF!…this is not really a Step but more of a result of doing Step 1 and 2 so don’t get mad.
