P90X3 – Day 2, Agility X

Agility X – 30 Seconds Is Only Halfway

30 seconds does not a minute make!  Yeah, I know that but that didn’t stop me from wanting to throw in the towel.

The Towel Is For Looks, Not Sweat

Day 2 of P90X3, as did Day 1, left me a more humbled man.

All I got to say is that you can doubt Tony Horton all you want, but when it comes to kicking your tail he knows what he’s doing.

Each move in Agility may be a minute long but each 30 seconds seems two minutes long (yes, that math makes perfect sense).

Though this workout is no Plyocide (Day 2 of P90X2’s program), if you go full force you’ll want to throw in your towel sooner than you’d expect.  And, speaking of that towel, Tony states that for this workout you’ll need; 1) some water, 2) a towel, and 3) some tape.  Well, you’ll really only need the tape because the water and the towel are just for show – there is no time for either.

No Time For Stragglers

P90X3’s Day 2 workout might be called Agility, but there’s a whole lot more to it than the name suggests.  After a nice little warm up Tony slowly (within the first 4-5 minutes) gets you full speed into the workout and before you know it –

“BOOM!

“What the hell was that?!”

“Oh, sorry, you didn’t see that brick wall.”

“No Sir, I didn’t.”

“Well, get up because the clock is ticking and we don’t got time for your hamstrings to play catch up!”…at least thats what I heard in my head.

And from that point on “It’s go time”…yeah, just like Van Damme says…for the next 20 or so minutes.
