ARMS WORKOUT – THE SECRET TO TONER, BIGGER, OR SEXIER ARMS FAST
TONER, BIGGER, OR SEXIER ARMS IS ALL ABOUT HAVING A PAIR OF BALLS
So, now that I got your attention, lets get that head of yours out of the gutter!
A lot of guys talk about wanting bigger arms and a lot of women talk about wanting toner more defined, sexier arms…and if they don’t they should be…okay, not really, but if you are, then this is the post for you.
The sad truth is that, generally speaking, women and men alike predetermine how strong someone is by the size of their arms. Now, besides the fact that the size of your arms may not correlate to how strong you actually are, the fact is that a nice set of arms make any white tee look amazingly good.
So, as vain as this post may be, lets face it, men and women alike want better more defined and sexier arms, and, unless you are naturally gifted with a nice set of arms like my friends Mr. Wesley Wilson or Mr. Daniel Sarisky, getting a nice set of arms can be a bit tasking.
THE UNIVERSALLY WRONG APPROACH
I don’t know how many guys I would see killing their biceps at the gym – day in and day out! Yeah, flexing your biceps is the universal sign for being strong…
…BUT THE BICEP ISN’T WHERE IT’S AT IF YOU WANT BIGGER ARMS!
WANT BIGGER ARMS? GET BIGGER TRICEPS
The truth of the matter is that our arms are made up more of the triceps than the biceps. In other words, the tricep muscles are bigger than the bicep muscles…which makes perfect sense to me seeing as “tri” stands for three and “bi” stands for two…and the last time I checked three was bigger than two.
So, if you really want bigger arms don’t waste all your time on your biceps but devote more time to your triceps instead!
DEFINE YOUR SHOULDERS
Now that you know it’s all about the triceps we need to start at the top – your shoulders. You can’t go around having big triceps that grow out of small shoulders…that my friend is simply no good. Mr. Daniel Sarisky has such nice arms because they start from well-developed shoulders that fall into the triceps and biceps in such a way that the three areas (shoulders, biceps, and triceps) are each self-sustaining and defined.
Think about it, you can’t just have big arms with small shoulders…unless you’re looking for some sort of Popeye effect.
So, considering you’re goal is to look nice as a real person, then you’re going to want to develop your shoulders as well as your triceps and biceps. The shoulders are not only a crucial part of your overall fitness, but in terms of contributing to the look of you arms they are pretty important too.
The shoulders come to a point right between your biceps and triceps. Therefore, you better make sure they look the part because the bigger drop from the top of your shoulder to the bottom of the shoulder, where it tapers down to meet your triceps, the bigger your triceps will look which in turn will make your arms more defined which will help the triceps themselves look bigger…and poof – bigger arms! Nice sentence…feel free to reread that thang if you’d like!
GET A PAIR OF BALLS!
So many people hit the curl bar, dumbbells, or cables to help build their arms…but if that’s all you do then you are going about it all wrong!
TONED, BIGGER, OR SEXIER ARMS IS NOT ABOUT CURL BARS AND PREACHER CURLS OR EXTENSIONS!
If you really want sexier arms then you’ll have to train differently! You’ll have to start using your arms a lot more…like every time you workout! But not only will you have to use your arms more, you’ll have to use your arms in new and challenging ways. And it just so happens a pair of balls is all you’ll need!
I came across this little fact of life when I started P90X2. X2 uses medicine balls for all pushups. From regular to wide to side-arm balance to swimmer’s pushups, X2 utilized a pair of medicine balls for them all….and it SUCKS!
YEAH IT SUCKS, BUT IT’S WORTH IT!
So, instead of doing pushups on the floor, try putting your hands (and feet at times) on a medicine ball. This forces you to focus on not only your core but your arms as you try to balance and stabilize yourself as you do each and every pushup…and yeah, it’s hard at first.
Hell, it might even be a bit frustrating at first, but it’s most certainly worth it!
You see, doing pushups on a pair of balls requires you to use every single part of your arms. From your forearms to your shoulders and every muscle and tendon in between, doing pushups on balls will call your entire arm into the game – and this is a game changer!
Now, I am going to be 100% honest here – doing pushups on balls can be a bit tricky and can bring on a few tweaks in your arms. Hell, if your not careful you can easily hurt yourself – SO BE CAREFUL!
But if you stick to it, listen to your body, and make sure to have good form you’ll find that doing your entire chest routine with a pair of balls will, in only a matter of weeks, give you toner, bigger, and sexier arms fast!
The truth of the matter is that your arms will have to develop because they’ll have no other choice!
So, stick to your regular arm routine and simply throw in one day a week of a full-fledged chest and back routine composed of a variety of different medicine-ball pushups and different types of pull-ups and I promise that not only will your chest and back feel pumped but your arms will want to explode!
